ETTLINGEN, Germany – October 30, 2014 – Bruker Optics today announced the release of the new networking software ONET. The software is a server application accessed via a browser-based web interface (WebUI), allowing to set up, administrate and control a network of FT-NIR instruments from a central remote location anywhere in the world. All data measured on local spectrometers are stored first locally and replicated to a ONET database for central access.
Dr. Joerg-Peter Conzen, Vice President of Bruker Optics, stated: “I am excited about the release of the new networking software ONET, since it now enables mid- and large-size companies to utilize high performance FT-NIR technology without needing to compromise on ease of use for routine operators. With the continuous demands for cost savings, it is virtually impossible to have NIR expertise in every laboratory or production site. With ONET, all calibration methods can be centrally set up and adapted, reducing the need for local expertise and training. Audit trails guarantee the transparency of products, methods and operator interactions, assuring data integrity at all times.”
